Hardware project - VG64 Backplane for Mobile Robots
Abstract
For an easier exchange of hardware and software arrangements on several issues had been made between Alex and me. We both use the CAN bus to interface the components of our robots. We even agreed on the same MCU platform which is the 8051 series. And we use the same VG64 connector and pin assignment for our boards.
The figure below shows the arrangement made about the VG64 connector at this time. Updates will occure in the future.
